What is Liga Premier Negeri Sembilan? ▼
Liga Premier Negeri Sembilan (LPNS) is a state-level football competition organised by Persatuan Bolasepak Negeri Sembilan (PBNS) in partnership with Bubbles O2. The 2025/2026 season is the first edition after a five-year hiatus, bringing together 20 teams and approximately 600 players from communities across all nine districts of Negeri Sembilan. The league aims to identify and develop new football talent at the grassroots level.
How many teams compete in LPNS? ▼
Twenty teams compete in the BubblesO2 Liga Premier Negeri Sembilan 2025/2026 season. They are divided into two groups — Group A with 10 teams and Group B with 10 teams. Each group plays a single round-robin format, producing 45 matches per group and 90 group-stage matches in total.
What is the league format? ▼
The league uses a group stage followed by a knockout format. In the group stage, each team plays every other team in its group once (single round-robin). Three points are awarded for a win, one for a draw, and zero for a loss. The top two teams from each group advance to the semi-finals, and the semi-final winners play in the final to determine the Liga Premier Negeri Sembilan champion.

All Liga Premier Negeri Sembilan matches are played at the PBNS BubblesO2 Arena in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. The venue is the home ground for PBNS football activities and features an artificial-turf pitch with floodlighting for evening fixtures.
When are match days? ▼
Matches are held three days a week — Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Three matches are scheduled each match day, with kickoff times at 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 8:00 PM, or 10:00 PM. The season runs from April through June 2026, spanning 12 LPs.

How does qualification for the knockout stage work? ▼
At the end of the group stage, the top two teams from Group A and the top two teams from Group B qualify for the semi-finals. The semi-finals are played as single matches: the winner of Group A faces the runner-up of Group B, and the winner of Group B faces the runner-up of Group A. The two semi-final winners then meet in the final.
When does the season end? ▼
The BubblesO2 Liga Premier Negeri Sembilan 2025/2026 group stage runs from 5 April to 30 June 2026. The semi-finals and final are scheduled after the completion of the group stage. The exact dates for the knockout rounds will be announced by PBNS once the group stage concludes.
